Refining the RV-Shopping Experience! RV shopping can be an overwhelming experience, especially for first-time buyers. With a huge selection of trailers, accessories and destinations it can be hard to know where to start! We recommend asking yourself some key questions to start out:

1) What is my tow vehicle situation?
It is important to know the tow capacity for your vehicle, so you don't end up picking a dream RV that is too much for your vehicle to tow, or will require an expensive upgrade in the future.

2) Am I a road-tripper or destination camper?
Depending on if you want to tour North America, or set up for long periods of time in a single area, you will want to pick the trailer that fits the type of trip you want to make. Always factor in the fuel stops and costs based around the size of your unit.

3) What gear do I want to pack in my RV?
Make sure you visualize your kitchen gear, clothes, and camping accessories fitting into the storage space in your new trailer. Overpacking can be the first time RVer's biggest headache.

4) How do I intend to spend my time while RVing?
Depending on how you invision camping, if it is roughing it outdoors while towing a place to lay your head at night, or you've got your home away from home, you should carefully consider the floorplans, furnishings, and accessories of each RV to best fit your plans.

5) What are my must-haves and nice-to-haves?
When looking at new RVs it is rare to find the unicorn RV that has everything you want. This is where devloping a list of your must-haves can help make sure you get the best RV for you, while not worrying about smaller details so you don't have to compromise down the road.

Regardless of where you are in the process, or the RV you're looking for you can find it at Kehoe RV!
